As a tool for sentisization of the community to issues of abuse, which is so prevalent throughout the world, posters and brochures for distribution can have a considerable impact. They can be used, along with other media material, to raise the consciousness to the effects, both short and long term, of all forms of abuse. For too long we have tended to believe that, as long as the wounds cannot be seen, then the abuse is not that serious.
