London 2002 In August of every year, we take our vacation in London......primarily to spend time with our children but also to shop, relax and visit family and friends. We always have a wonderful time and this year was no exception. I was able to spend some time with my friends at the Refugee Support Service as well as assisting with the graphs for the Annual Report. This added another dimension to my holiday and made me feel I was contributing something to the service in which I had enjoyed working so much while I was in the United Kingdom two years ago. I also met with fellow students most of whom I had not seen since 1963 when we graduated from Twickenham County Grammar School. We had a wonderful reunion and it seemed impossible that so many years had intervened. We also spent happy hours with both my family and Mike's. It is always wonderful to go back each year and meet everyone looking no different than the previous year and we consider these precious moments. This year we shared our time between Robert and Tamsin and her Robert, thus hopefully not imposing too much on either! We enjoyed both periods of time.....going out to dinners, lunches, picnics and drinks by the river. One thing I cannot easily accept is that I only see them once a year and I miss them all so much. Thank goodness for memories and photographs!
