2007

2007 started with my nearing the end of treatment for lymphoma and that was great for me! It took me some months to recuperate from the chemotherapy and I was impatient. However, I learnt that it would take time and adjusted accordingly. Then, one day, I suddenly realized I felt great!

Mike continued to do well. We both became anxious at our three month checks, hoping desperately that we would get good results. Our social life was extremely quiet and I was not as creative as I would like to be. However, I did some new posters for the Crisis Centre and continued to develop brochures for the organisation. Our children continued to be supportive and were in touch regularly by email or telephone. Thank goodness for modern technology for it enables us to receive photos and videos of our children and beautiful granddaughter, Siena. She is growing up so quickly and is now a real school girl, doing very well in school and loving interacting with her friends.
